ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT

OUR ETHOS

We believe that landscape and visual impacts are intrinsic to every project

Development will always have an effect on the environment and whether that is positive or negative, a pragmatic and pro-active approach to design can definitively affect the positive outcome of a project. We also believe in the integration of landscape and visual mitigation having wider environmental benefits through biodiversity net gain and flood risk resilience. By always looking to build appropriate sustainable design into our projects, we increase the opportunity for planning success and add long-term benefit and resilience into our designs.

    OUR APPROACH

Landscape and Visual Impact is a highly emotive, subjective part of the assessment process. We believe in taking a pragmatic and practical approach to give clear and repeatable assessment of landscape and visual impacts.
As with all our assessments, the key to addressing landscape and visual impacts starts with good design. All projects have an effect on their surroundings, both positive and negative, so we always prioritise understanding the location and character of a site early in the development process.

We believe in taking a pragmatic and practical approach to give clear and repeatable assessment of landscape and visual impacts.”
